Carol Robertson at Peter Foolen Editions




An exhibition of prints, watercolours and a painting by Carol Robertson is the first presentation at our living room. Peter Foolen Editions will make 4 or 5 presentations a year at Nijenrode 107 in Eindhoven.

You are invited and very welcome on the opening on
Sunday 6 January 2013 from 2pm – 6pm.
The exhibition is open by appointment until 12 February 2013

Carol Robertson is born in 1955 in Berkshire, UK. She had exhibitions at (choice):

This book is showing a sequence of 15 photographs taken by Robin Gillanders of the fleet of boats made by Ian Hamilton Finlay. This 'regatta' of toy sail boats took place with Ian Hamilton Finlay on Lochan Eck, Stonypath, Little Sparta, in June 2002.

there is also a special limited edition published with this book:
an original photograph,  numbered and signed by Robin Gillanders in an edition of 25 copies. The silver gelatine photograph is printed by Robin Gillanders on Ilford Warmtone Multigrade FB paper (see image above)

Robin Gillanders is a photographer living in Edinburgh and he had a long-time association with Ian Hamilton Finlay, having done many collaborations with him. In 1998 the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh made an exhibition, and published a book, of his photographs of Little Sparta.

In 1994 I published, with Peninsula Foundation, Eindhoven, a collaboration of Ian Hamilton Finlay and Robin Gillanders, the photographic print Seasons for the portfolio Dear Stieglitz,. In 1995 Peninsula published Brount of Ian Hamilton Finlay with photographs by Robin Gillanders.

The publication Ian's Fleet by Robin Gillanders will be launched, a sequence of 15 photographs of the fleet of Ian Hamilton Finlay on Lochan Eck, Stonypath, Little Sparta, which took place in June 2002. There will also be a special edition including an original photograph.

Peter Foolen Editions will present a display of books, works and documents of Hans Waanders (1951 – 2001). A special limited publication will be available, with an introduction by Alec Finlay and original rubber stamps
